Thuto Centre Conferencing & Bush Lodge is a conference venue and bush lodge just outside Bela-Bela in Limpopo, about two hours north of Johannesburg. The centre lies roughly 148 km from Johannesburg and 117 km from Pretoria, under 90 minutes away, with OR Tambo International the nearest major airport. The approach is straight up the N1, which makes it a practical choice for Gauteng organisations that want delegates out of the city without losing a day to travel. Five versatile event spaces scale from intimate gatherings to functions of up to 500 guests. Each is a flexible blank canvas that still holds character, suiting conferences, corporate functions, weddings, banquets, luncheons and year-end functions. One space is equipped for simultaneous translation, accommodating up to 100 delegates in three languages — a facility that is uncommon outside the major metros and a genuine draw for multilingual conferences, pan-African gatherings and international delegations. On-site accommodation makes residential programmes workable. Dormitory facilities sleep up to 114 guests, with standard and deluxe rooms for a further 32, so the centre suits school camps, workshops, corporate retreats, training programmes and multi-day conferences where delegates stay over. Standard conferencing audio-visual equipment is provided — projector, microphone and sound system — alongside technical support and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the venue. Packages include in-house catering, tables and chairs, and clients are welcome to bring their own furniture and decor.
