About Rosebank

Rosebank is the creative-and-corporate district between Sandton and the Johannesburg inner city. It has a different character to either neighbour — more pedestrianised, more retail-and-restaurant-led, with a strong gallery and design scene anchored by the Goodman Gallery, Everard Read and the Rosebank Sunday Market. Several large corporates (Standard Bank, Coronation, Liberty's North African operations) have HQs here. Hyatt Regency Rosebank and the Saxon (technically in Sandhurst but operationally Rosebank-adjacent) are the conference anchors.

Hyatt Regency Rosebank (a 244-room property with full conference facilities and a rooftop pool), The Capital on the Park, 54 on Bath, Park Hotel Sandton (Rosebank-adjacent), The Peech Hotel (Melrose, 5 minutes east), and a cluster of boutique guesthouses handle most local conferencing. The Crowne Plaza Rosebank handles the mid-market end. Capacity per venue is generally 30–400 delegates.

When to pick Rosebank

Creative-industry events, technology and digital sector conferences, fashion and design industry meetings, media-sector events, and corporate stakeholder programmes that benefit from a more cultural neighbourhood feel than Sandton. The Rosebank Mall, Keyes Art Mile, and the Rosebank Sunday Market are natural partner-programme components.

Getting there

The Rosebank Gautrain station connects directly to Sandton (5 minutes), Pretoria CBD (40 minutes) and OR Tambo (35 minutes). Driving from OR Tambo takes 25–35 minutes via the M1.
